Finally ordered some more storage for the man cave. Planned where it would go, measured everything up and hit buy.
Now I've realised that the presence sensor will have to be moved, and the other unit will completely block my access to the side of the TV where all the cables plug in!

Re-watched Caprica recently. Such a crying shame that didn't get a second season. Then I had to re-watch Blood & Chrome. Now I have to re-watch all of Battlestar Galactica! Love it!

Went to the Retro Computer Festival @computinghistory.org.uk today. What a great bunch of people and an awesome array of retro computers. If you zoom in on this picture, you can just about make out my name on the high score for the floor is lava game on the Dragon computer. Won myself a badge!

Loved the bonkers Philips VG5000!
Had an absolute blast at this year's event! It's so great speaking to members of the public and discussing all things retro computing!! This year I was in the Dev's room with fellow developers who, like me, still write software for computers that are now 40+ years old!!

Decided it would be fun to hook my #Atari 800XL up to my monitor last night. It wasn't! Got a picture, but no sound.
So I hooked it up to my portable monitor instead. That worked.
Then I spent ages trying to get a game to load from tape.
Once loaded, it was rubbish!
I love #retrogaming !
