It seems Amazon now has an AI shopping assistant (beta) names Rufus. It slid open as a side panel when I did a search without my asking for it. There is a little “X” to dismiss but there seems to be no way to just turn it off and never see it again. I do not want this.

One lesson from this fine mess: after Trump is gone and the GOP shattered, we are going to have to greatly reduce all powers of the US President. Permanently. The Trust has been broken. If Democrats are not onboard with that they need to go too.

Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

Ahmed was shot by the second shooter, who was firing from a bridge. He suffered 2 gunshot wounds and is undergoing surgery.
