Just found out that my dad has cancer. He hasn’t spoken to me in over a year and hasn’t spoken to my sister in over 2 years. A lot of sadness mixed with anger today.

Recently got back into reading more than one book a year. In the month of December, I read The Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss, since I’d read the other books in that series. But then I dove into Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros and I couldn’t get enough.
