Also Kane in Alien is continually depicted as being too curious and eager for his own good. That's why he looks at the egg. Sometimes characters aren't acting stupidly, you just haven't been paying attention and think everyone should act like *you* would.
“WHY WOULD ANYONE LOOK INSIDE AN ALIEN EGG??” this is why:

oops not airpods. airtags, i mean. airnarcs. airsnitches.
These airpods are $16, which is "nearly free!" a concept so hilarious I cannot wait to obnoxiously break it out in a restaurant. "My pizza is only 12.95?" I shall yell with unsufferable enthusiasm at the server. "That's nearly free!"
Kotaku's deals headlines are unhinged. Can you say something is "going for pennies!" when it costs [checks price] 4000 pennies?

The Walking Dead (for its faults) is interesting here! The core location changes every season after some disaster, but chars keep repeating the idea that humans must keep moving to survive, so the audience too eventually expects to keep moving. The core location effectively becomes "the road".
This is how I feel about BallxPit too. It's a hypnotizing yet hollow numbers-go-up, closer to an idle game than any arcade inspirations. It does nothing to my brain except activate the binge cortex.
thought it was just some island hopping and then.... :0
