In a new paper, Wistar’s Villanueva lab has discovered a new strategy to treat melanomas harboring mutations in the NRAS gene that don’t respond to MAPK inhibitors. Their treatment kills these mutant melanoma cells in preclinical testing with FDA-approved drugs. Our story: bit.ly/411yfwB

Make no mistake, the freezing of federal funding will have wide-reaching implications across the country. Citizens who rely on federal grants for income, children who depend on federal programs to be fed, small businesses who pay their people with federal dollars not making payroll. This is very bad
