(Oh, and I also found a camera shop where I bought a much needed SD card).

The lead up to this big town is so long that I am yet to formally enter the town itself, but, according to a few locals who appeared to speak my language, it'll be worth the wait.

Today I arrived at the largest town on #Sado Island.
And, I came face-to-face with a road sign I've never seen before. I think it means 'Taking the scenic route is prohibited'. (I could be wrong here).

Having now reached the mountain summit twice, I decided to visit a town I had not seen before here on #Sado Island.
This must be a new development (the houses are made of brick here and not garden fences like in the old village I saw).

I'm still on #Sado Island, and, a little way up an unremarkable hill- a large grassy area that looks suspiciously like a Roman amphitheater. (Those Romans travelled way further than I previously thought).
