I tend to log onto this account when I have negative thoughts to share… … because we shouldn't always have a negative view of negativity.

Less than ten minutes into rewatching the 2005 "Fantastic Four," and it's already ten times more entertaining than the 2025 version.

Another ten years, and we'll already be due for another reboot.

Why would anyone assume anything problematic about a person, based solely on what podcasts they listen to?

I regularly listen to dozens of podcasts that would disagree with each other on any number of issues—and I've probably never found a podcaster I never disagreed with. I <3 diverse viewpoints!
Getting some work done today, at a pizza shop that's playing The Office loudly on a TV.

If I didn't already loathe this show, the episode that's on right now would be enough to solidify that opinion.

I'm genuinely glad other people enjoy it, even though I can't relate.

You'd think horizontal images would realign when you rotate your phone (assuming your orientation lock is off).

But on Bluesky, it doesn't seem to work. Having it work should be pretty basic, right?

Does photo rotation work correctly on anyone else's phone?

Thus far my experience is a mix—Bluesky has surprising gaps in what I would have considered basic functionality

I haven't used my Twitter account in forever, so eventually I'll hop back on to see if X's coding is better or worse

(I'm talking less in terms of algorithm and more about the UI itself)
You're supposed to be able to log into Bluesky from your browser, to enable "adult content" (which is often wrongly flagged as such anyway).

But when you try to log in on the browser, it just takes you back to the app—which doesn't have those controls.

What gives?

"Whose Turn Is It‽" is an independently produced card game printed in the USA and it's tons of fun!

People often assume vulnerability is a one-way street at nude-art photoshoots—with the model completely at the mercy of the photographer—and thus only the photographer has the mandate to be trustworthy, humane, decent.

In my experience, that's just not true at all. It's very much a two-way street.
Thus far, Bluesky seems like a parody of itself.

I assume that's on purpose?
