This post has helped me learn that when seafood says it's fresh, it really isn't because it has been frozen before being sold to preserve it, and then defrosted to be sold "fresh," and then they up the price because of it @beh353.bsky.social
I feel the same, too. I always try to meal prep, but because of the workload in the fall semester, it is hard to find a good day and time to prep everything, or I am just drained from the week and don't feel like meal prepping
I chose Lack of time to plan, shop, prepare, and cook healthy foods, as a college student, partially can say I do this Sundays are my reset days, and I either make a meal prep for lunch that is healthy but sometimes I feel too overwhelmed to do it so I just buy something from dunkin, which is easier
I like this post it's simple and explain what can help challenge your brain instead of scrolling on your phone everyday
I agree with you about taking a multivitamin. I take one too because I dont feel like I get enough vitamins in my meals. It's a nice help to get everything your body needs with a daily vitamin
I don't know if it is a placebo effect because when I dont take them, I feel off
I take these vitamins every day to support my health and make sure I get my vitamin D when winter comes, and also my vitamin B. I feel like I don't get enough in my diet, and these support what I am missing in my diet and help support my body. I learned when I take them I feel more energized
This is a womens multivitamin. Each tablet supports reporditive health, strong bones with vitamin Bvitamins to support healthy metabolism of fats, carbs, and proteins with folic acid, calcium, vitamin D, enzymes and botanicals. #beh353

I like this resource because it’s medically reviewed by a registered dietitian and written in a way that’s easy for anyone to understand.t focuses on mindful eating and finding balance instead of strict dieting, which makes it both realistic and positive for patients trying to make healthy changes.
I chose this article from Healthline because it talks about how enjoying your food what the author calls Vitamin P can actually make eating healthier and more sustainable.
This is a nice page from the CDC, it helps people look into what they can do to change their diet into something more on the healthier side, and I agree about it being highly credentials and being patient-friendly
I love this post because I love cinnamon buns and this is a nice way to look at it when eating a sweet treat @beh353.bsky.social
Cinnamon buns: part dessert, part stress relief. If you’re eating one today, don’t overthink it. Enjoy it! Nutrition isn’t ruined by a pastry. It’s built on habits, not single moments. #RealWorldNutrition #FoodWithoutGuilt #CinnamonWins
I agree with you, I also think the raw food diet is interesting but could be very dangerous especially if they are consuming raw meat they can definitely get salmonella or a viruses from it @beh353.bsky.social
My biggest takeaway is that keto might work short term, but it isn’t realistic or healthy for long-term eating. I’d rather follow something like the Mediterranean diet that still focuses on real food and balance. @beh353.bsky.social
I looked into the Keto diet after watching the lecture. It’s supposed to make your body burn fat instead of carbs by putting you into ketosis. It definitely promises quick weight loss. I found that keto cuts out a lot of fruits and grains, which can lead to vitamin and fiber deficiencies.
This helps me understand why dietitians say that whole grains are better then refined grains or white rice and will think about when I am preparing my meals
Whole grains give more than just fiber. They provide vitamins, minerals, and plant compounds stripped away in refined grains. Swapping white rice for brown or choosing oats over sugary cereals are small changes that add up for better health. #RealWorldNutrition

Wow! What app do you use? Is it free? I want to try doing the same thing for my gym journey
This is a cool fact I didn't know, now i can corporate this into my diet while also upping my fruit/protein intake at the same time
