I am old enough to remember how we got from separate Washington and Lincoln birthday celebrations to presidents' Day. Henceforth, Presidents' Day should be a celebration of President's, who have supported, protected, honored, and furthered the purpose and goals of our Constitution and Democracy.

It was difficult to watch, not least because it was an indicator of how distressful your country is. I hope that at some point in the future, we see her inchoate, desperate outbursts again, but this time because justice has caught up, and it is her liberty that is at stake.
