I stick with the the classic "haha".. or "hahah" if an additional amount of digital laughter is needed.
Whoa, awesome! I had my animation classes in the early 2000s, so they were still teaching it this way. It was satisfying timing and planning all the frames on the X-sheet. It sort of clears the mental load and lets you play around, knowing the number of drawings you have to make an action work.
Ah yes, I see! Wonderful! Yeah, not having space is the worst. I have piles of art books, but I need to invest in more bookshelves.. which is tricky when the books are all huge and irregularly sized. I hate the feeling of not having easy access. Feels like a waste!
Oh nice! I'm sure you've got a big collection of original books.
It's workplace discrimination, is what it is..

I've had images from this book saved to my computer for a long time. Such charming illustrations.
I've GOT to get this book!
May I humbly suggest that for the comics-and-history buff in your life, my book about how newspaper cartoons were made—including never-before-printed Doonesbury and Peanuts printing artifacts—would be a great gift? glog.glennf.com/hcwm-store/h...
Page from How Comics Were Made: shows a Peanuts color guide created by the artist’s studio to show engravers what the final printed piece should look like in the newspaper. Page from How Comics Were Made: Text explains the schedule of comics delivery by cartoonists to syndicates. A large panel of Doonesbury has radio host Mark Slackmeyer saying of former Attorney General (Nixon administration) John Mitchell, "That's guilty! Guilty, guilty, guilty!!" Page from How Comics Were Made: Two original drawings by Bill Watterson for two 1993 Sunday Calvin and Hobbes strips Cover of How Comics Were Made: pale yellow background with images from comics, a cartoonist at his drawing board, and printing artifacts around the title
Time for the annual Christmas party in Heaven!..
