Over 40% of corn grown in Indiana is used to make ethanol that cars burn. One acre of corn yields about 16,500 vehicle-miles per year of ethanol, which sounds high until you realize that one acre of solar yields about 2,700,000 vehicle-miles per year: 16,000% more driving for a given plot of land.

I mask regularly in Seattle and I’m rarely alone! I’m not sure why. There is almost always a few people in the store or on transit wearing a mask.

Having done a lot of health care recently, fairly high mask percentage but like 60%. One nurse complained the hospital was going to impose a mask

I know a couple that worked for the same firm. The wife went off to a conference, were the boss booked two rooms but managed to get the front desk to give him an extra key to her room. Lawsuits ensued. Astonishingly awful.

We're spending $20B to bail out Argentina, but they cut USAID down to the bone, causing deaths around the world. The entire budget of USAID, the whole agency, was $21B last year. Shameful.
