Once you see it you can't unsee it, the theory of change for these people is as follows
1. Cripple a nation's economy via collective punishment. 2. (Hopefully) induce protests about the economy as a result. 3 Take these protests as a casus belli to topple the regime. 4. Cripple it more if 2 fails.

It's worth talking about how these people, nominally Democrats, repeatedly reaffirm that the point of the sanctions ie collective punishment which in turn will hopefully induce internal regime change. It's outright stated here that even if Iran did zero enrichment sanctions should not be lifted.

it cannot be stated enough that the networks doing ICE resistance and mutual aid rn are built off the work done by proPalestinian activists in the last couple years. And not just the networks but messaging discipline and tactics.
I see keffiyehs at every protest
I see the MA networks that sprung up to help Palestinians, working to support neighbors attacked by ICE
I see protest and opsec tactics being shared from the college encampments
And people still log on here to say “those pro-palestine people were just bots”

The very idea that replacing Bovino with Homan of all people was anything better than a lateral move is baffling to me.
This is how Tom Homan reacts to losing a court case to free a medically fragile 5-year-old who was used as bait to lure his dad so they could be imprisoned in a measles factory. Fuck any de-escalation stories that come out.

A fundamental problem with this country is that you have less responsibility, transparency, and duty as you gain more power when it should be the opposite. The Supreme Court gets to be very secretive for no good reason. Cops get a monopoly on violence and have near total immunity when they use it.
