In 2021 one of the BU labs ordered an industrial sized roller of aluminum foil to my stockroom but did not put their lab name on the label.

In September of 2022 it still hadn’t been picked up so I took it home.

It just ran out tonight.

My 8 months pregnant wife got laid off today due to federal funding cuts and as far as I can tell to qualify for unemployment she’s supposed to just… go on interviews???? Has there ever been a stupider society?

While I obviously think that hiring Bari Weiss for your news room is dumb and crass I think for a network like CBS that’s entire television lineup is catering to someone who is 78 and afraid they might screw something up if they touch a remote button, I suppose a conservative shift is inevitable

I’ve seen the piece Bomani did on how the anti-racist groups the NFL had since pledged money to are more radical than you think, and barest credit due for keeping the Rooney Rule when other companies were killing DEI.

But it’s still nuts that nobody is publicly sitting out the anthem right now.

Thinking about how Colin Kaepernick had the whole NFL scared to the point Jerry Jones kneeled on the field and they finagled the whole thing away to the point where the only real winner is Jay-Z because he gets to pick the halftime show and the conservative media still has the outrage dial up on it.

I’ll probably mention this 500 times in the next year but my stepdad was in Vietnam, realized it was stupid, went AWOL and served 90 days in a military prison.

Literally anyone holding a gun for the government could do that right now but if they won’t it’s because they’re either a Nazi or bitchmade
