Once a month I delete EVERYTHING on this website 'cause fuck it lol
I sometimes find myself deleting periods or removing spaces that won't be too intrusive so I can save on character count.

I scrunch up my face in disgust every time and just hope that no one thinks I don't know proper grammar.

A dream all creatives have is "what if we actually did EVERY single note the execs gave us?" because it would be the most insanely nonsensical shit you've ever seen

I 100% want to see Rush Hour 4 try to do every single note Trump has. All of them. Timecode specific.

Yes.

Andrew Grimple kept showing up to our show even though we never paid him. He sometimes ate lunch with us and poured milk into a bowl of dry rice and ate it like cereal.

I couldn't accept his work because he always handed it in using his bare toes like little fingers and it was unsanitary.

Regardless of the content of the video, is there a name for this style of presentational speaking?

It's sort of a lilting, melodically rhyming sort of speech. Whenever a sentence ends, it doesn't actually sound like it's ending, it almost moves into a question-adjacent melody.

Centipede Horror (1982) has stuck in my head for years and now it's finally disc!

If you're into classic gross-out horror, wanna see people who are definitely covered(and worse) in REAL centipedes, and wanna feel just generally upset/shocked, this is for you

I remember in the late 90's early 2000's when the 70's were back in style and my parents were like "No... we don't want this to come back... please..." and I didn't get it but now that the same thing is happening to the 90's and 2000's, I get it now. I'm sorry.

This is (one reason) why I’m against generative AI, period. Instead of being able to inherently look at any type of media with joy or trust, I now always have to be vigilant about its authenticity and ethics. Every video, every doodle, every photograph is suspicious. It’s exhausting.
Why am I so against generative AI in games?

Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Equal parts "I never want to hear about the news in the US again for the rest of my life" and "I'm sorry, I live in the US, it's so crazy right now that I really don't have the brain space for news from other countries at the moment" and I now just have paralysis that I would say is maybe unhealthy?

Every bit of this only reinforces Joyce Carol Oates’ absolute roast of Elon Musk as fundamentally lacking in the ability to enjoy anything normally human. “I built a tool that can insult people in a social setting better than anything ever invented” is a real personal tell.
Everything about this might be the saddest thing I’ve ever seen

I've said this before and I'll say it again: Class Act is the best House Party movie.

Regular-ass people: "I can't buy new shit. Everything is too expensive and there appears to be no relief on the horizon."

Kevin Williams of the business section at CNBC: "While it may seem to be a smart money move, it can result in a costly productivity and innovation lag for the economy :("

Anyone know of any production companies that have done a few horror comedies?

Or comedy production companies?

It's hard reaching outside of animation. Live action and animation communities are like insulated silos. It's hard to reach across between the two, especially coming from animation.

Everything feels like that medieval torture method where they put rats in a cage on your stomach and they eat through you to get out except it's just one rat and he gets bored sometimes so he goes really slow.

ENSHITTIFICATION NEWS ALERT

Yesterday, Google Maps took me to a sponsored result instead of to the location I needed to go for a meeting.

First I tapped the location I needed to go, as shown in my calendar. I was going to Universal City, which I didn't really know how to get to.

I think my least favorite genre is "video of someone saying something kinda smart or matter-of-fact and then one half of the screen is some entirely different person in their dining room looking at the camera all smug like mmmm hmmmm!"

I spent a lot of time on youtube always clicking "show less often" on youtube shorts. Now, on my computer, it's the first thing at the top of my homepage and when I open the app on my phone, it just auto plays youtube shorts without my ever having tapped to look at them.

How. How do I stop this.
