PS: Turns out I was supposed to actually tap here and THEN press the NEXT button that says "Directions".

I was really lucky that I left so early yesterday. I only ended up about 5 minutes late to the meeting.

You know how everything in the world always feels so stressful for no reason and like there's little needles poking you all the time?

It's because of the thousand shitty paper cuts like this.

That's right, it took me to the sponsored result from the map earlier, not the actual location I tapped and that it showed me multiple times.

I'm not going to show you the location I was coming from, but this is the screen it took me to and I zoomed in on the location.

Then it took me to this screen, where it showed me Universal City and the location I was trying to go.

As you can see:
- The address in the search bar is correct.
- The map shows the location I'm going to.
- The pop up window on the bottom shows the address as the title.

So I tapped "Directions"

ENSHITTIFICATION NEWS ALERT

Yesterday, Google Maps took me to a sponsored result instead of to the location I needed to go for a meeting.

First I tapped the location I needed to go, as shown in my calendar. I was going to Universal City, which I didn't really know how to get to.
