Yeah I don't know why this is the culture. You get more work in animation if you've worked in live action before. It's like it's just more respected by the people in charge of making animated stuff. Kinda bleak tbh. :-/

Often times, trying to get into live action kind of feels like starting from zero again. Like I might as well not have had a career up to this point. It's very strange. Doesn't feel like it should be this way, but it is.

I always hated Miracle Whip. It frustrated me when someone would make a sandwich and say they were putting mayo on it, I'd eat it, and realize it was Miracle Whip. Then I moved to China and the only mayo they had was sweetened and I loved it because it reminded me of people fucking up my sandwiches.

Fun fact, that WAS triple checked.

It was right in the search bar, it was right on the map, it was title in the bottom window. That's 3. Turns out I needed to QUADRUPLE check because I also needed to do a check after I pressed the directions button, which I've never had to do on any map in 20 years

I'll give it a shot. Thank you. I normally just use Apple Maps, but of course this one time I was like "sure, I'll use google maps, I'm in a rush and I don't wanna do some kind of copy/paste thing" and here we are.

Oh man, I've had that too. My brain is in driving mode, I'm looking at street signs and cars, and now suddenly my map app wants to act like it's in podunk kansas pointing the way to the only motel in town? You are not a farmer giving me directions, you're a computer. Use street names.

PS: Turns out I was supposed to actually tap here and THEN press the NEXT button that says "Directions".

I was really lucky that I left so early yesterday. I only ended up about 5 minutes late to the meeting.

You know how everything in the world always feels so stressful for no reason and like there's little needles poking you all the time?

It's because of the thousand shitty paper cuts like this.

That's right, it took me to the sponsored result from the map earlier, not the actual location I tapped and that it showed me multiple times.

I'm not going to show you the location I was coming from, but this is the screen it took me to and I zoomed in on the location.

Then it took me to this screen, where it showed me Universal City and the location I was trying to go.

As you can see:
- The address in the search bar is correct.
- The map shows the location I'm going to.
- The pop up window on the bottom shows the address as the title.

So I tapped "Directions"
