Hey great idea, they just need to go out and find a young prospect on the cusp of breaking into the NHL as an impact player. Someone like Boston got last year, Fraser Minten. If only Toronto had someone like that...

Seeing all the rumours saying the Leafs should trade Carlo and Laughton is also making me feel all kinds of emotions, skewing heavily towards one in particular.

Seeing Minten and Greb both score playing against each other has me feeling all kinds of emotions

Is it a coincidence that the guy targeted by Rodrigues' late/dirty hit is the same guy (Desharnais) who rocked Tkachuk with a clean open ice hit earlier in the game?

The Department of Panthers Safety thoroughly investigated and found it to be pure coincidence.
We have a goalie fight!

Miroslav Holinka on an 11 game point streak: 12 goals, 11 assists, 23 points.

Miroslav Holinka since November: 24 games, 19 goals, 27 assists, 46 points.

Holinka is now tied for 2nd in the WHL with 61 points in 37 games.

I love this goal. Cowan can see that the line between him and JT for a pass would be more easily blocked, so he puts on the brakes to create a better passing lane. JT sees this quickly and makes a quick pass behind his back to more easily avoid the defenseman's stick. Snipe. Goal. Celly.

#Leafs prospect Tinus Luc Koblar (#4 in white) with a nifty toe drag and snipe for his 5th goal of the season. He's been on a tear since returning from the World Juniors Division 1A tournament, now with 2 goals and 6 points in his last 8 games.

That was a disgusting assist by Knies
January 7, 2026 at 1:47 AM
How did I only JUST notice Knies' insane between the legs pass on this?
NICK ROBERTSON 🚨

What a pass from Knies!

I like both Parekh and Reid individually as defensemen.

...I don't like them on the same pairing.
December 27, 2025 at 9:44 PM
Danford hasn't been perfect this game but he's been excellent. He had the second most ice time behind only Parekh after two periods, despite not getting any special teams time the 3rd period. He's been solid defensively and has been very good moving the puck.

That flip pass just now was perfect.

Not a Leafs prospect but Tij Iginla is a total dog, holy crap

Ben Danford jumped up to lead the rush, goes to the net for the screen and gets a secondary assist on Canada's go ahead goal. He's been excellent in the first period so far, making solid decisions and playing his usual reliable defense.
December 27, 2025 at 2:11 AM
#Leafs prospect Tinus Luc Koblar (#4 in white and blue) almost set up one goal with a pretty pass, but got a secondary assist off another pretty pass right after. He has 6 points in 24 games in Sweden's pro league so far this year.

This must be what a parent feels like when their kid ignores their big math assignment until the morning of the due day, panic and get their answer from ChatGPT, only for it to give an answer using ancient Arabic poetry but somehow the end is the correct answer and they get a B+.

Cowan has been a pleasant surprise with how quickly he's become a solid NHLer. I figured he'd need some seasoning in the AHL to start this season.
December 14, 2025 at 12:46 AM
#Leafs prospect Tinus Luc Koblar with a nice snipe and a primary assist in the final game of the World Juniors Division 1 tournament. He finished with 10 points (t-3rd in tournament) in 5 games to help Norway finish at the top and qualify for next year's main World Juniors tournament.
December 13, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Wow. That's a hell of a trade.
🚨TRADE ALERT #mnwild #Canucks
TO MINNESOTA: Quinn Hughes
TO VANCOUVER: Marco Rossi, Liam Ohgren, Zeev Buium, 2026 1st round pick.
December 13, 2025 at 12:43 AM
#Leafs prospect Tinus Luc Koblar (#21 in red) has been with Team Norway trying to qualify for next year's World Juniors. Today, he had 3 goals and 2 assists in a big win.

He has 4 goals and 8 points in 4 games (tied for 4th in the tournament) to help Norway lead the standings with one game to go.

Honestly, lately it's been a case of thank god Toronto's goaltending has been saving the team's collective asses. Hildeby and Woll are both top 5 in the league for goals saved above average on a per minute basis.

Hildeby is 6th in the league in cumulative GSAA and he's only played in 9 games!
December 9, 2025 at 6:34 PM
"Thank god the Leafs have Hildeby" is not a genuine thought I expected to have this season
December 9, 2025 at 3:29 AM
#Leafs prospect Tyler Hopkins with the surprise sharp angle shot for his 12th goal of the season. He's up to 25 points in 28 games this season.
December 6, 2025 at 12:21 AM
#Leafs prospect Victor Johansson officially named to Sweden's World Juniors roster. How big a role he plays remains to be seen.

I've been in a dark place this week, and I do not exaggerate when I say that Knies' immovable object of an ass has been the first ray of light for me since Monday morning.
