Good debut for Johansson. He played almost 14 minutes despite being on the "fourth" pair/extra defenseman. Had four shots on net, one assist, was a +1 and was on the ice with the net empty as they tried to tie the game late, so he had some early trust for his offense.

I read into this a bit differently than others. I don't view this as him saying build a winner or I'm gone. They're not perfect but they did make back to back finals, so they've already been a contender. I read this as him saying you have two years to win with me and then I'm gone regardless lol

Aside from NHL Player Safety reaction, the league office also has concern about how things played out with Lightning/Panthers to end pre-season. Multiple league personnel have been in touch with both clubs, I'm told.
