I’m watching “It’s Florida, Man!”, Mama’s watching “The West Wing”, and @earthican.bsky.social is watching “The Pitt”. Just a typical Tuesday night dinner practicing whole self-care.

Way back when (~’02), I received a free Kodak point and shoot with photo paper with a new HP inkjet printer. To this day, it has been my absolute favorite camera ever. I almost cry again whenever I think of how it gave up the ghost just a few years later. The pics were so good … all of them. <sigh>

Rick Roll comin’ in hot!
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

It all started in 1955 with a misprint in a Colorado newspaper and a call to Col. Harry Shoup's secret military hotline. Shoup played along with the tiny voice who called, and a tradition was born.

NASA’s Rocket Engine Fireplace
Oh, this is so good: NASA has an 8-hour cozy fireplace video in 4K that’s actually a rocket engine (in a fireplace). This glowing mood-setter is brought to you by the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket that launched Artemis I on its mission around

The Santa Fe City Council voted to raise its minimum wage from $15/hr to $17.50 by 2027 — but they also added another provision.

Future increases will factor in inflation, and the price of housing.
