Perhaps we should create a Cabinet level department to look into federal crimes. Keep it walled off from the Chief Executive, functioning as a watchdog for the American people's interests and safety.

This is why I’ve offered for the last decade, here and in the bad place, to help people understand their LocalGov municipal budgets. Zero takers. We have a curiosity deficit, in part bc we have basically limitless distractions and we’ve been able to take Gov for granted. It’s different now.
one of my strongest beliefs is that we're in our situation right now bc some of the most prominent talking heads (e.g. joe rogan, andrew schulz) are learning about politics in their 40s and 50s, instead of their teens and early 20s, and we have to go along for the ride as they learn basic things

Attorney here. Neither Minnesota nor Ohio has any prohibitions on wearing a motorcycle helmet. Ohio even specifically allows body armor as long as it's not used during commission of a felony. (Just checked Westlaw to make sure.)
