I have been awake for over an hour. I am in a train in Germany, with a load of equally tired friends. All to go to a parkrun in a different town, our second of the weekend. At this moment I am questioning my life choices. 😴

I wonder how many lives have been changed as a result of that small group of people who organised a run. My life certainly took a different path as a result of saying hello to people on the day I first arrived at my local parkrun.

Morning. Some supermarkets sell them branded as Tregroes Waffles (adult me was surprised when I realised they weren’t invented in Wales). They’re the perfect size to rest on top of a mug of tea to warm.
They also do a yummy chocolate-coated variety which I don’t recommend putting on top of a mug.

Bruges day two. A little tired. Dark hot chocolate.
