Friday we had our final Board of Revenue Estimates meeting of the year-and it was good news for our general fund revenues. At the same time, we had already lowered our expectations because of the negative effects the Trump Administration is having on our federal & contractual jobs.Challenging times.

WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.

Maryland is taking an important step to understand the real cost of climate change, with the Comptroller’s Office leading a climate damage study. Thanks to Gov. Moore, Sen. Fry Hester, Del. Hidalgo, Sen. Van Hollen, and advocates. Investing now saves Marylanders more later!

Flashback to one month ago when I was honored to join ReBUILD Metro, the Hammonds, Mayor Scott, Secretary Day, Senator McCray and many others who helped build the amazing new Hammonds building in Johnston Square - new residences and a new library all in one.

MORE GRIFT. The Warner Bros. merger was already suspect, but now Trump’s family is getting in on the act.

Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, is part of Paramount’s bid for Warner Bros. Discovery. Paramount already had deep ties to the White House, now Trump's family will directly profit if they win.

Speaker Adrienne Jones led the House with steadiness and grace through historic challenges. As the first woman and first African American Speaker, she opened doors for so many. I’m grateful for her leadership, her example, and her decades of service to Maryland.
