It was a great paddle, except at Bonnechere Falls, where I slipped on some rocks while trying to get in my kayak and ended up in the river. Took some skin off an elbow and got soaked, and we were only 1.5 kms into an 8.25 km paddle.

We're home and I'm pooped (and sore).

For some reason, Google has excluded the island that I paddled around on the Ottawa River today.

My alarm bells are sounding. He asked for a CV without answering my questions, even though I said I wouldn't send him it until I knew more about the company and specific responsibilities.

Should I say "no thanks" or just not respond again?

A head hunter reached out to me with a writing opportunity and gave a vague description of the job without naming the company. I asked for more info about the job, asking about the company and he repeated the description, only adding it was a 1-year, renewable contract. No mention of the name.
