As of 2013, the Caucasian Badger became recognized as it's own species of badger (Meles canescens). The species broke away from Meles meles between 2.37 million years ago to 450,000 years ago.

$New to the badger family is the Caucasian Badger (Meles canescens). Originally thought to be a subspecies of Meles meles, it is now classified as it's own species as of 2013. It is native to western Asia and some of the Mediterranean Islands.. Only small difference in the Caucasian and European badger are in size and color, Caucasian Badgers being slightly smaller and having a yellow\brown color to it$

October 6th is National Badger Day, a celebration to all things badger. Decided to do all my badger characters again, and added the Caucasian Badger, who officially became a different subspecies of badger in 2013. welcome to the badgerdom.

Welcome to Auggie. Adding the Caucasian Badger to this years National Badger piece. That makes 9 different types of badgers. Also, adding the Stink Badger back to my crew, even though science now says Stink Badgers are "false" badgers, and closer related to skunks. There are two types of stink badgers, 6 types of ferret badgers, and 3 types of hog badgers.

I have several different versions of that on my hard drive. I have a whole folder of Marten Toonder's art saved for when I need inspiration on what to draw next.

I discovered his art because I was into PG Wodehouse's "Jeeves" books, and found Bommel's butler, Joost. Love the inking on Joost.

My loon character, Gavin. This was part of a bigger piece from FA, but I wanted to get Gavin alone with Bruce again.

I have no idea what Gavin is drinking, nor why he's drinking from a beaker, nor why he's using a crazy straw to do so. He's a loon. He does weird things.

My "Wind In The Willows" cast from 2021. Bruce's shirt, and my own sentiments from that time period, still seem apropos today. Always be the best "you" that you can be, no matter what anyone tells you.

For those who try to tell other people how to live their lives, mind your OWN DAMN business.

Nero More, Bruce Badger and Baron Ratt (or Baron von Ratt in some of my notes. Also, his design has changed since I created this). Only thing missing from this piece is Ulysses S. Toad (or "Toady", who is also gay, so getting him into the piece wouldn't have made the piece "work').

My red panda, Colin, and Bruce Badger have the same artistic design. It's hard to tell the two apart when they are together. (And yes, I just wanted to draw them in the nude. So sue me. They look adorable together).

Why are there not more red pandas in the fandom? Seriously! Look how cute Colin is.

He used to work in the adult film industry (He's an old retired gay porn star "actor" where he went under the name of "Roary Cummings"). He also does a bit of gay erotic fiction under the pen name of "Markitty de Sade".
