the new (beta) @penpot.app renderer is such a huge improvement. snappier in a 100-tab browser window from hell than the Figma desktop app with a single file open. i know i keep saying this but if you design for the web and you haven't tried penpot you owe it to yourself to give it a whirl.

According to Tech Radar, a reason to avoid using Vivaldi as your web browser is "No AI-powered assistant". Yup - and we're proud of it! If you don't want slop while you shop, or scurf while you surf, give the European browser a try.

I'm reasonably sure that if I made an App that spread racist and misogyist abuse and allows people to make AI deepfakes of naked kids, it might not be accepted into App marketplaces that charge a large %age as they "carefully curate" the Apps they sell to ensure security, privacy, decency etc.

Can’t stress enough how major media outlets are continually failing (or aligned with the owner of Twitter) when reporting on this. “Grok” didn’t do anything. The owner of grok made the CSAM generator into a premium service.
