The Last Explorer shows a crushed aluminum can in the lower left, torn open like a metallic flower. For this #BlueSkyArtShow a place I’d been 100s of times but not in 20 years.

One is small. Little breakable #Pieces collected at the foot of a monument, when all the little pieces are fused, a massive towering cathedral dramatically rises to the sky.

I asked ai to critique and describe this image. Here’s the response. “Towering formations rise like a cathedral sculpted by time, their surfaces layered with fragments of stone shaped by erosion. Each ridge and fissure speaks of pieces once broken apart, now fused into something vast and enduring. Photographed in Cathedral Gorge, this image captures the monumental beauty of earth’s natural architecture, where silence and scale become a form of worship.” The sky is dark to light blue. Dotted with a variety of gray, white puffy and streaking clouds. The sand is beige and appears thirsty and arid. The cathedral spires rise out of the sand creating a towering monument of the same beige sand mixed with deep rose sand. It is jagged and you can see each individual adding its self to rise.

A wide valley stretches beneath layered off white stone mountains, their ridges carved by time. Two horses, one a pinto, brown and black spots on mostly white (L) and one all dark brown? Almost black (R) graze in the open vivid green grass meadow, small against the vastness of the land. Above them, the sky is streaked with soft blue and white clouds, creating a scene that feels quiet, timeless, and fleeting.

It is an iconic location. Dozens of people cycled through while we were there. They would snap a selfie and then snap another one from a different angle. The iconic house and beautiful grounds was rarely the visitors focus. Their own faces were priority.

It’s been a year since my lil Spike took his final journey. An inevitable journey I couldn’t protect him from and could not walk with him. The first 9 years of his life he was abused, abandoned and someone even tattooed him. #R.I.P.

A drop of water impacts a pool of water in a stainless steel receptacle. The impact causing a smooth irruption of water. Deep blue ink is randomly scattered about the scene like whispy clouds. A half circle moon-like streak of white light frames the right side just near the impact site. Right of the semi circle the image fades to black with little water droplets attached to the container. The impact itself is awash in blue tones from deep to light to black and resembles an impact crater on the surface of the moon.
