For this #BlueSkyArtShow a place I’d been 100s of times but not in 20 years.

One is small. Little breakable #Pieces collected at the foot of a monument, when all the little pieces are fused, a massive towering cathedral dramatically rises to the sky.

I asked ai to critique and describe this image. Here’s the response. “Towering formations rise like a cathedral sculpted by time, their surfaces layered with fragments of stone shaped by erosion. Dotted with a variety of gray, white puffy and streaking clouds. The sand is beige and appears thirsty and arid. The cathedral spires rise out of the sand creating a towering monument of the same beige sand mixed with deep rose sand. It is jagged and you can see each individual adding its self to rise.

Despite the treatment humans inflicted upon him, he held no grudges. He loved everyone, even though he suffered unspeakable abuse. He was my friend. He didn’t care if I smelled or how popular I was and he didn’t ever ask how rich I was, he just loved being right next to me. And I miss him.

It’s been a year since my lil Spike took his final journey. An inevitable journey I couldn’t protect him from and could not walk with him. The first 9 years of his life he was abused, abandoned and someone even tattooed him. #R.I.P.

An image of the night sky with more stars than can be counted. The Milky Way is visible diagonally within the frame. The smokey galaxy has a mix of yellows pink green against the black sky. The first time I have ever captured the Milky Way in a photograph. In the middle of nowhere Nevada I ran into a lovely family and he gave me advice and helped with a couple of the issues I was having. They drove all the way from San Francisco just to photograph the nights sky this night. We Photogepaher the night sky till 1am.

A red feral stallion with scars all over his body stops, makes eye contact to determine if I was a threat. He cocked his tail as soon as I got out of the Jeep and began photographing him. It was touch and go whether he’d charge and I was totally exposed if he had. He was with 3 mares a juvenile male and foal. He was very protective of them. His body is covered in scars and the red color is a burnt red color.

A dark gray with a white underbelly and snout as well as a black mane and single black shoulder striped feral burro makes eye contact. The wild burros of the west coast are left overs from the gold rush era. These burros have surly dispositions and often injure people who think they’re tame. They were domesticated but now considered feral.
