Relatively.

We are now going to proceed to the Q&A session.

With a minor. I'm not a maniac.
Bombay Sapphire.
Tickets were cheap. Airline seating type pricing algo.
Frozen. Little Mermaid. Moana. Beauty & The Beast. Tangled. Encanto; that order.
Too long by about 50 minutes.
The worst people in the universe.

I feel it captures the experience.

This weekend I went to Disney on Ice at the O2, paid £38 for two gin and tonics, and took exactly one photo:

I know nothing about this is funny, and we shouldn't suggest that anything about this is funny, but the "our president has stolen your president" thing is slightly funny.

You see Notre-Dame, whereas it reminds me of the magnifying glass gag in Top Secret (1984).

I very much hope it's the result of a standoff over the neighbour's solar panel installation that escalated.

I have mixed feelings. There's an awkward isosceles triangle area to the left of the patio that no qualified architect would ever allow, the wood panelling looks crap, the balcony line is a mess and fake grass is never acceptable. But at least it's bad in an interesting way.

They do like to shield behind the idea that it's all the work of one brain-cooked oddball, but he still has plenty of help. www.linkedin.com/company/x-co...

Section 230 is as damaging long-term as lead in petrol.

Cos it seems to me that by working for X, a person has to be strongly in favour of systemised sexual bullying, and I'd just like to make sure that's where they're at.
January 2, 2026 at 8:20 AM
I think I'd like to hear now from some X employees about how they think the Everything App™ is taking shape. Does the new CFO approve of recent developments? What about the EMEA Comms director? Is the VP for stakeholder engagement still happy to have this company on their CV?

It does seem the most likely explanation. There are McDonalds franchises in lots of government buildings, including the Pentagon, so my guess would be they either supply the stuff wholesale for cooking on site or borrow from other locations.

I believe, in his first term, that White House security didn't allow ordering in so the kitchen made him faux McDonalds. No idea if that's still the case though.

Yes, it was very much "ambushed by conversation".
December 30, 2025 at 10:36 AM
About 15 years ago in Zetter Townouse, where I'd been sat at a table only slightly bigger than an ashtray and was assuming I'd been stood up by a date who was half an hour late, I met Rhodri Marsden and had one of those stilted conversations about me knowing him from online and him not caring.
Please quote this with stories of your minor interactions with non-celebrities, e.g. “I once accidentally bumped into a man in the Wellingborough branch of Holland & Barrett”

So the advice is to not. Thanks, machine.

I'm sure the appeal would wane on the 100th time someone asked what she did.

Yes yes, fascism and etc, but I need urgently to know more about the "all things Britain" themed Christmas party. Did he dress up as Gromit? Were there Ginsters, Hula Hoops and WKD? Did they play landfill indie?
Peter Thiel’s Christmas party had an odd theme this year: “all things Britain.” (per NYT)

As Trump sunsets and backlash builds, expect a focus shift to the UK—where some see brighter possibilities for fascism, network states, and monarchies.
