Three people who’d be expected to be Your Party bigwigs have largely walked away from Corbyn’s project: former NE mayor Jamie Driscoll, former Labour MP Beth Winter, and former ANC MP Andrew Feinstein.

I have some new intel on the fall-out, if you’re interested in that sort of thing… 🧵

Keir Starmer:
Please explain how donations are NOT bribes

Examples:
Keir Starmer from Robert Latham amount £100,000
Boris Johnson from Christopher Harborne £1,000,000
Yvette Cooper from Gary Lubner £210,000

There are 1000's of other equally illuminating examples

Interesting that in attempting to challenge @zackpolanski.bsky.social about how much money would be raised by a wealth tax, @vicderbyshire.bsky.social gave three examples of Western European democracies where wealth taxes are working: Spain, Switzerland and Norway.

The Starmer government is REALLY running scared of this petition, now at 2.75 million, to the extent that it has responded 3 months early, in a transparent attempt to spike it.

So please, under no circumstances should you sign it and share it widely. Starmer & his boss McSweeney would not like it.

My Thames Water bill has risen from £51 a month to £71. Without warning. My usage hasn't increased. What is going on? We need to end this farce and nationalise water now.

I'm relying on Blusky to correct me if I'm wrong: in the UK, an employer needs an employee's National Insurance number to ensure they send the correct deductions to HMRC. So why do we need ID cards? Just properly enforce the existing system.

Just for perspective, a few weeks ago roughly 100,000 turned up for the London Trans+ Pride march. By contrast fewer than 3,000 ACROSS THE WHOLE COUNTRY, have turned up to anti-asylum "protests". Yet we are meant to take the latter as "the voice of the people" and the former as "the minority".

The real 'two tier' divide in British politics is between the wife of a Conservative councillor calling for refugees to be burnt alive, being treated as a brave 'political prisoner', and the protestors calling for the end of mass starvation and genocide, being treated as domestic terrorists

People travelled from prehistoric times: some traded, some travelled, perhaps for family or love... or perhaps because things might be better elsewhere.

Why this is such a surprise never ceases to amaze me - we can see them move through ideas, things, techniques, boats & tracks...

People move.

Reform just tell people whatever they think you want to hear.

And of course that includes former Tory Ministers turned Reform.

We must hold them to account.

Every. Single. Time.

I'm so happy that you are there to articulate what so many of us feel and so rarely hear on our televisions or radios. Migrants are our friends and colleagues. Migrants are humans. End austerity, provide safe routes, allow all migrants to work and contribute.
Labour won’t defend migration.

Too scared of Reform, too terrified to lead.

While they play dog whistle politics, inequality is the real problem.

Not small boats. But private jets.

These are foods critical to health when our society is riddled with obesity & malnutrition...
