If the Venezuelan sailors were enemy combatants, then the 2nd strike is a war crime.

If the Venezuelan sailors weren’t enemy combatants, then both strikes are criminal murder.

It’s that simple.

I’ll take the point. We outplayed them with only 10 men.

If the NYT told the story of the homeless teenager exploited by Matt Gaetz with even half as much empathy as it tells the story of Olivia Nuzzi, it would be in danger of committing journalism.

Episode 69 is out today. We wrap up Brian’s extended listening assignment and Cort follows up on that whiskey podcast. And we finally resolve on an objective basis whose birthday is better. And we never make the obvious joke even once. Download here podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/l...

We could use a lot more of this out of Jeffries. And others too.
Jeffries: “Nobody who's serious in this country takes Dr. Oz seriously…I'm not going to respond to any comments from randos like Dr. Oz, who is woefully unqualified to be in whatever position he holds in the administration. He's a joke. These people are all jokes.”

Far too low. And also we use dollars not pounds.

Dick Cheney did more than anyone else to build up expansive and destructive executive branch powers in the wake of 9/11; he lived to see another president turn those same powers against his own daughter.

He should be a warning sign to the GOP today but too many of them are in the cult.

Apparently I’ve said something controversial by arguing that the future model for the Democratic Party are charismatic candidates who advocate for populist positions while never backing down to right wing intimidation campaigns. How is this even up for debate?

Gillett much better/fairer that second 45. Can't believe we only won 1-0
Glad we're up 1-0 but Jared Gillett has ref'd an atrocious first half. He's let Spurs go through the back of our players time and again, and then worse whoever in VAR let Bentancur avoid a red. Pathetic.

Alas we will get another week of regurgitating the next lie.
