Stewart Cheifet was best known as the host of the PBS series, The Computer Chronicles. He was a journalist, and I knew him as executive producer of KITV-4 News in Honolulu, where I worked for him as an intern, my first job in the media, many years ago. Stew passed away on Dec 28, at age 87.

MacOS 26.1 is still largely unusable on an M1 iMac, especially if you use Stage Manager. 🖥️➡️🗑️ Very disappointing. Beware if you plan to upgrade from Sequoia. Hoping for big perf fixes soon, @Apple. 🙍♂️🙏
