Ridgecrest showed up. We had 288 people stand proudly together to say No Kings in America! We kept it peaceful and a vast majority of motorists supported us with positive honks every few seconds. For our red rural Navy town, that says a lot!

I am learning that my anxiety meds work only so far - it helped quell some of the insurance anxiety (oh, that's back again - I have got to figure out where I belong) for a while but now it's off the rocker again because of all this shit happening in America.

This makes me sad, when the top trends on Blue Sky are sports related. It's so obvious to me that the push to air sports on television was a way to keep people distracted from what's really happening in the world.

But they don't want to hear about me when they are thinking about their families, their assets, and I don't blame them, I just want them to know they are not alone. We're all in this together, and not all of us are psychopaths. I guess this is the cost I pay to get paid. The struggle is real.

I wish there was something I could do, but I can't. I have nothing. I am just an Advisor giving out the bad news to those who rely on me. I don't know what to say to them when they tell me they can't afford this, or the cost to fire proof their homes. I know, because nor can I. I, too, live here.

A few things I feel the need to clarify about that CNN article though.
1. Those people didn't just lose their "wildfire insurance", no, they lost their Homeowner insurance - also known as HO3, providing coverage for fire, water, theft, liability, etc. perils as covered by their carrier.
