As a Canadian who is now recently living in France it's such a surreal joy that I can take a day trip to London, hang out with friends, and then it's just a 2hr train ride back home to Paris.

Lorwyn Eclipsed limited PSA: the new champions get blown out and 2-for-1ed by Counter Spells in a way that the classic Champion did not.
Strange that the mechanic feels so unforgiving in the modern landscape of the game.

Had an amazing time at the creator Lorwyn Eclipse prerelease in London! My pool felt very strong and round 1 I went for omega levels of overkill!
And most importantly the changelings are all 11/10 in this set!

My only big complaint about the Elemental precon are the Thriving Lands.
They are "fine" for 2C decks. But in 5C decks it's annoying to track what color you chose. No idea why they were chosen when Vivids are better and are even a callback to OG Lorwyn.

This is my favorite precon card as well. It's super flavorful and captures the essence of what I love about Commander.
It's also low-key very strong at most casual playgroups even ignoring synergies. If your playgroup always says yes to "tempting offer" cards then this will also do serious work.

I really like Flock Imposter as well, giving the deck some protection as well as letting you reproc enters triggers.
