Really astounding (racist) sh*t
The new National Security Strategy of the U.S. contains some pretty explicit white nationalism:

“We want to support our allies in preserving the freedom and security of
Europe, while restoring Europe’s civilizational self-confidence and Western identity.”

I spoke with Any Lucía López Belloza, the Babson College student who was on her way to surprise her family for Thanksgiving when ICE deported her.

"My 5-year-old sister still believes that I might go home for Christmas," she tells me.

Touching but hard to read all these posts by people who were indelibly shaped by Asad’s teaching at a time when admin are hell bent on dismantling one of the institutions he taught at. My condolences to his students. We need a new world.

Among leftists & fascists alike, children are often reduced to a mere idea. There are plenty who speak on behalf of children without building solidarity with actual children. Even with the most liberationist intentions, this is rooted in adult supremacy. It has to start with kids.

I reviewed every individual chapter of Kevin Anderson's The Late Marx's Revolutionary Roads. It's a great book for everyone interested in versions of Marx relevant for feminism, antiracism, or decolonisation. Anderson shows that Marx himself was already on the right track!

Just finished Kevin Anderson’s new book on colonialism, gender, and non-Western postcapitalism from @versobooks.bsky.social. It’s great! I used to do book summaries on Twitter, but Bluesky doesn’t seem to encourage that stuff. Would there be interest in a chapter-by-chapter breakdown of the book?
