𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, by 𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 octopuses (and Tay) don't have tentacles at all, whilst squids only have two; the remaining eight limbs on both species are just "arms". But that's semantics, really.

Tbh I'm not 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 familiar with the precise differences between the two myself, but at a glance: octopuses have eight tentacles whilst squids have ten, and octopuses have rounded heads whilst squids' are more triangular! Tay aligns more with the former of the two listed.
