I’ve spent the first day of 2026 working on some ideas to breathe new life into a long-term passion project. Initial testing looks… promising.

I thrifted this gorgeous material and I have no idea what it is! It’s printed on a rust orange background. The fabric is brushed to a sheen on the front, the piece is roughly square and runs selvedge to selvedge with a simple zigzag stitch on the cut ends. My best guess is tablecloth or bedspread?

The productivity goblin on my back is soooo demanding. I’ve spent much of my holiday break crocheting a sweater. I have half of one sleeve left to go but I’m already cranky at the amount of my break I’ve used on this one project.
