the fastest way to kill motivation is to make your identity depend on the outcome. it's called ego involvement. when failing becomes failing as a person, your brain starts avoiding the whole thing. not because you don't care, but because you care too much.

you don't need lower standards. you need less self-worth tangled up in your goals. the work gets easier when it's not about proving who you are.

Ohhh! I would not have guessed! Since your series is heavily influenced by Mongolian culture I would have guessed either Mongolian or close by. I love your series and your artwork it's incredible beautiful 💕 I was in Mongolia 5 years ago and it brings back so many fond memories 🥰

… but I noticed how that hurts whenever I see the message of receiving a comment comes in and when you open it, it's just a heart, or many hearts. Not sure if that's what the author's feel just receiving a star rating without any feedback as to why 🙈

So true! I usually look for that one comment that reads like a book itself explaining what they felt when reading. Sadly that is becoming less and less as people either are too lazy to comment or just don't feel the need to do it. A reason I include the comment cheat code in my ao3 stories+

I'm not American but my accent sounds more American than British hence the confusion most times. But it also boils down to people's experience and what languages they know, how you look etc. Most people guess Irish because of the red hair (which is also wrong 🤣)
