I think I did the right thing taking my foolish cat in to the vet when he’d been puking a bunch & barely eating but god I wish it hadn’t cost a month’s rent to get “well everything seems ok” and some meds o_o

So my mom did go “oh you sound sort of hoarse” at dinner and I did say “oh yeah that’s been a while” and just move on lmao
Historically I have never told my parents anything personal abt myself until I was backed into a corner (see: getting my period, almost all of my former partners, being a homo) so rn I’m playing a variety of chicken w them I like to call “how long until someone asks what’s up with my voice”
