i think next time there’s a craft fair my family wants to go to, i’ll propose we take separate cars. that way i can stay behind after everyone else leaves and explore things more at my own pace.

and while i didn’t take any photos from this booth, as I thought it might be a bit uncouth to take photos of another man’s photography, i highly recommend anyone who is into nature photography to check out this guy. he has some absolutely amazing shots on display.

i didn’t mean to take photos of booths only by woodworkers, but apparently that’s how my luck went as this was the last booth i was able to get photos of.

i was particularly a fan of the sink made from a wooden barrel, something that no doubt almost every man wants.

i really enjoyed the birdhouses in this booth. sadly by this point, the craft fair was already starting to get pretty crowded and my wife and mother in law were walking around like they were on a mission, so my already slim chances to linger and take photos were rapidly disappearing.

i very much enjoyed the wall art from this artist. he had all sorts of styles to pick from and there was probably something for everyone in this tent.

me being who i am, i am pretty partial to his wildlife themed works. zoom in and you can see some complex landscapes in some of the animal pieces.

unfortunately, both my wife and my mother in law are very focused shoppers, so i didn’t get much time to explore at my pace. i was fortunate enough to get some time to explore some booths that interested me though. i was particularly drawn to this one due to the clay birdhouse.

my wife, lovely woman that she is, got up with me well before dawn so we could take her mother to a craft fair out in harrison, ohio, near cincinnati.

there was so much that caught my eye, here is a mini thread of some booths.

first up is some lovely handmade glass pendants.

my first doodle in my new journal.

as i look at more and more aerospace photos over time, i’m starting to feel that all the really cool looking stuff came out before the ‘80s. jets, planes, rockets, equipment, you name it.

i especially like the grumman a-6.

in actual breakfast news, there were a couple of leftover scratch made pancakes in the fridge. between the wheat flour and the slightly overcooked state of them, they had a real nice earthy tone to them. i drizzled a bit of spicy honey on them and they were divine.

probably the highlight of my day.

candles that smell like baked goods are literal torture. waking up to the smells of a fresh baked apple crumble only to discover that it’s a lie. there should be laws against such things.

my afternoon plans went out the window, so i took the time to put on some classic reggae, make myself a cup of coffee, and scribble out a couple of really bad pictures to undo some tension.

i really need to find some better employment soon. i have too much free time.

sadly, after this trip i haven't been able to get the phone to charge. i'm hoping the issue is just with the charging cable and not the phone or battery itself. if it is the actual phone, i'll be looking to find a replacement. these low resolution photos are a lot of fun to take.

the other week my wife dragged me out after dinner to go look at a tank. not passing up the opportunity to play with our little samsung cell phone camera, i dragged it along. i took about thirty pictures and here are the seven that turned out alright.
