At Winterage Weekend, we celebrate the centuries-old tradition where cattle are herded up to the Burren hills for winter grazing, which in turn helps sustain the area's unique biodiversity. Expect great food, vibrant music and arts, magical walks, and engaging demonstrations and talks.

The inaugural Burren Archaeology Festival took place over the weekend. We had an exceptional turnout and the response to experts, speakers, and demonstrators was fantastic. Thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped make the event possible.

See you in 2026!
