Sometimes you like when I tell you about Ukrainian traditions.

Today, we honour Saint Kateryna the Great Martyr.
In pre-Christian times, this day was believed to celebrate a girl’s destiny, and later the Church linked it to Saint Kateryna, a symbol of womanhood.

The ripples of kindness continue to spread: a man came in this morning having heard The Tale⤵️ "She sung at our wedding." She also sung with their choir outside during the pandemic when choirs across the land joined together to honour the front line workers. "She still had a great voice."

The ECB SPACE survey shows cash was the most frequently used payment method at point of sale in 2024 in 14 out of 20 countries in the euro area, especially for payments under €50. The Dept of Finance reports an increase in the use of cash in Ireland in 2025, 92% of those surveyed saying they use it
