It’s an absolute shame that DC fired Gretchen Felker- Martin for exercising free speech and then @bsky.app suspended her account. Every writer here should be decrying this because we have to stand up for each other! This is ridiculous.

Does the D in DC Comics stand for Disappointment or Double Standard? Asking because apparently you get plum jobs if you're a serial abuser but you get fired for refusing to mourn someone who threatened your very existence on a regular basis.

Left the movie theater with the strong desire to put one fist in the air and just take off into the sky right in the middle of the parking lot. Superman is an utter joy and the kind of superhero movie we deserve right now. Doing good because it's the right thing to do.

Not even finished with my Doppio yet and I'm already contemplating adding some embroidery to it. Part of me wants to leave it plain so it can be more versatile and the other part of me is like "girl, you don't *do* plain."

Tomorrow would've been my dad's birthday. We're all getting together to celebrate, and the cake I made looks like shit. It feels like an apt metaphor for grief. You think you're doing well, but suddenly it's all lopsided, the insides are leaking out, and you're hoping sprinkles will cover the mess.
