Got my animation bug again and decided to try out Blender's Grease Pencil this time! This is a character I came up with in middle school and still have fond memories of to this day! Started with a sketch in my sketchbook, and then got to work in Blender!

New Equipment Alert! Mines! They will fire off the deck of your ship and float in the water until an enemy ship runs into them, dealing massive fire damage! I used the red barrel model I made a while ago for the mines, as I thought they just kinda made sense.

Newest addition to Reaper's Sea: Torpedoes!
A favorite of my DnD group, these do great damage, but they are slow moving so you really have to lead your shots!
I originally wanted them to be steel but the torpedoes were hard to see in the water, so I went with an iron look.

Just finished Little Witch Acadamia last night and how Studio Trigger manages to include a mech in everything they make I'll never know! I'm not complaining, I just think it's really funny. Highly recommend if you haven't watched it!

I am now genuinely worried that the however many thousands of important open source projects hosted on GitHub will eventually be destroyed by Microsoft. Blender, Godot, Bambu Studio, among a whole bunch more that I use on a daily basis, including my own game prototypes such as Reaper's Sea.

I've been practicing drawing in between working on Reaper's Sea (which I hope to have an overview video on soon), and I finally got some eyes I like! Only took me ACTUALLY USING A REFRENCE to get right!

I discovered Starship Velociraptor by Galactikraken, Johnathan Young, and Voltan, and I can't stop listening to it! So I decided to make my own version of the Starship Velociraptor in Blender! These guys really did a great job, and you should go watch the music video on YouTube!
