when people talk about male loneliness as an issue (or a non-issue, depends who's talking) I can never tell if they mean men not getting laid or men not having friends. I feel like it's used pretty interchangably. personally I don't get lonely because I have carved my heart into an altar to myself

thing about autism is if you work really hard for many years, you can learn through trial-and-error how to navigate social situations and interpersonal connections SO effectively that people don't really believe you're autistic anymore and resent you for not being perfect at nonverbal communication

a lot of the replies to this say that it's OK, BUT there should always be a path to continue finishing the game, and *ideally* that path should be grindy and punishing for the player. while I understand the instinct for that method, and know that it has been received well, I find it really cloying
Hive mind.. whats the general thoughts on allowing players to brick their games by letting them kill NPCs? Are folk ok with that? any smart examples where it is recoverable?

it's really mean how anytime I get stoned everyone in the world can tell and coordinates to act in a slightly suspicious, hard-to-read manner. I would get mad about it, but for some reason I always find it really funny at the time
