Because they began with hate in their hearts
I've been sent video from the end of the ICE raid at the Zipps on 32nd and Shea.

It shows protesters -- on the sidewalk, impeding no one -- getting drive-by maced by an ICE agent from a truck as it rolls away down the road.

Hard to see how such tactics are justifiable.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

Absolutely!
Whatever is in the Epstein Files is so explosive that the leaders of the Department of Justice are openly breaking the law every day to keep us from seeing it. (Just a reminder amongst all the other stuff flying around.)

Congratulations to Russia and China.

You did it! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

USA will never be looked at as a trusted partner and ally in the world ever again, by any sane or decent country. You spent years propping up the idiot occupying the Whitehouse, and it is working.

ICE Detains Legal Worker in Maine, Leaves Car Running at Scene
Portland, Maine — Masked federal agents detained a civil engineer with legal work authorization in downtown Portland on Thursday morning, leaving behind a running vehicle with a smashed window, according to witnesses and video from the scene. Juan Sebastian Carvajal-Munoz, a Colombian national employed by GEI Consultants, was stopped just after 9 a.m. near Pearl Street by agents wearing police-style vests. Bystanders said the agents broke a window of the gray Hyundai Tucson he was driving and then left the vehicle running in the street after taking him into custody. A passerby later moved the car into a nearby parking lot. The detention occurred during what Immigration and Customs Enforcement has labeled “Operation Catch of the Day,” a statewide enforcement action in Maine that ICE claims targets the “worst of the worst” criminal offenders. However, background checks reviewed by local outlets found no criminal record for Carvajal-Munoz, who colleagues say has been in the U.S. legally on a work visa. He is at least the third individual detained in Maine during the operation who reportedly lacks a criminal history. ICE has said it arrested 50 people statewide but has publicly identified only a fraction of those detainees. The agency did not immediately respond to questions about Carvajal-Munoz’s case. Colleagues described Carvajal-Munoz as a respected professional and University of Maine graduate with a strong academic and work record. Maine Gov. Janet Mills criticized the enforcement tactics, saying secretive detentions undermine public trust. Local police confirmed they responded to the scene but were told it was a federal matter beyond their authority. Blumenthal: "I'm a no vote on that spending bill unless there are conditions that require ICE to go to a judge, to get a warrant, as well as other kinds of constraints -- the use of masks, the non-identification, the unmarked cars. These secret police, totalitarian tactics need to be stopped."

The party of law and order literally just wrote themselves a memo that says they don't have to follow the 4th Amendment.

That's right, ICE intends to perform illegal search and seizures without a warrant.

Add that to the list with "we had to beat up the police on Jan 6 to defend our democracy".
