Closing U.S. airspace like this at El Paso hasn't happened since the Twin Towers attack on 9/11/01. Also, #KTSM9News is reporting that no local advance notice was given, including military leadership at Fort Bliss. And the military does not have "carte blanche exemption,” so they're also grounded.

The airspace over El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM has been halted for the next ten days. This includes Fort Bliss. Does anyone know what's going on?

BREAKING: A witness who was just 5 feet from Alex Pretti filed an affidavit depicting what she saw.
She says he didn’t touch any of the officers and didn’t appear to be resisting. He was merely helping a woman who had been pepper-sprayed.
