I'd like to see this happen by reminding people that autism is not something to fear your child having.

Kids dying will not convince anti-vaxxers.
I’ve spent the past two days as pediatric ward attending and frankly we need both more and even better vaccines not fewer

Great thread. These photos are ART, they convey deep messages. Photojournalism exists to record history, with all it's flaws. Anderson included commentary as well. He is a brilliant artist. If you need help understanding, read the thread.

Sometimes I'm glad mom lectured me on art in museums.
The Vanity Fair photographer, Christopher Anderson, is one of the most respected portrait photographers currently on earth, with an incredible body of work. Everything he and the creative team did with That Article was intentional. Your reactions were provoked by artists making art. Human artists!

Re the Vanity Fair photos: Chiming in as an artist and someone who knows basic retouching: editing out that single forehead hair (Rubio’s photo) is EXTREMELY simple. Leaving it in is a choice.

None of this is an accident, and quite frankly it’s brilliantly done.

Reading the #ESO end of year letter from leadership... and I'm only cautious. Not optimistic. There are sill SO many bugs in Solstice, unaddressed fro 3-6 months. My game crashes 3-4 times a day, no errors. So you're working on a HUGE feature (harder overland) that a tiny % want, while...

I would like to thank @accredo.bsky.social for having competent agents.
Mix up between my personal Mastercard being mistaken for a assistance program debit card. Just had to make a call to Accredo (immediate refund to my card) then call program, verify debit #, all good. My cPTSD thanks you.

Techbros seem to love Tolkien, so here's an analogy to help you understand what genAI is.

GenAI is The One Ring. You think your use is justified, b/c you don't have evil in your heart.

But it came from evil, it is intended for evil purpose, & anything you do with it will be twisted to that end.

He doesn’t. Just like with the TSA bonuses. There’s no funds appropriated for this & no authorization to do it. But it will continue until/unless Congress takes back the power of the purse w/actual pain points when Trump & his people usurp congressional power.
How does the president have independent authority to mail out Christmas bonuses?

MilleniOs (1999-2000): To ring in Y2K, Cheerios released this special edition, brown sugar-sweetened variant, with "2"-shaped cereal pieces that would spell "2000" when placed next to three "Os". They also encouraged consumers to use the boxes as time capsules for the "once in a lifetime" event

President Trump is expected to sign an executive order as soon as this week that would fast-track the reclassification of cannabis and acknowledge its medical benefits for the first time at the federal level, four people with direct knowledge of the plans tell NBC News.
Trump expected to sign an order moving to reclassify cannabis and open up medical potential
The move wouldn't legalize marijuana, but moving it from Schedule I to Schedule III would allow the FDA to study it for medical purposes.

They will literally be killing babies with this. Choosing life my ass.
Instead of recommending the hepatitis B vaccine for all newborns, the CDC now officially advises women who test negative for the virus to consult health care providers about whether their babies should get their first doses within 24 hours of birth.
CDC formally stops recommending hepatitis B vaccines for all newborns
The acting CDC director adopted controversial guidance from the agency's advisory panel, upending a decadeslong policy. The CDC now advises consulting one's doctor about vaccinating a newborn.
