A hole runs through the bear’s torso suggesting it was threaded on a cord, perhaps worn or carried as a protective charm.
Found in a peat bog near Słupsk, Poland, in 1887.

Fun fact: during my "want to be a condutor" phase, I also wanted to design a women's tuxedo, based on this style of dress. Traditional tuxedo jacket, over a skirt, probably pencil or a-line. Can put the stripe on the skirt.

Absolutely incredible style here. The cut of the jacket is just sublime, and the embroidery (?) is a simple design, but massively elevates the overall look of the outfit. Just a perfect suit, I love it so much!

whoever figures out a way to bundle independent journalism subscriptions will be a hero
i know that this is an unpopular take, but everyone starting their own newsletter as a revenue stream is not a sustainable model for writing and reporting or for people who love and want to pay for media.
