So na. I think the folks who blindly engage with and wallow in AI need to have that shit taken from them. Make them learn to use their creativity again.

I'm not going to say " let the people who want AI have it"

no theres an actual consequence to it. If it just damaged and rotted them i'd have no problem.

But its draining water from cities at an alarming rate, artists having their work stolen only to have it regurgitated for empty calorie art.

It does make me love the folks who go out of their way to promote real artists and reject ai.

But it's so sad to see the ugly shallow cancer of this era made manifest and the people who gleefully wallow in it.

it are the folks who love the things that artists make.

Hell even if they don't like the thing an artist makes at least they're engaging with an appreciation and honesty toward the medium. Not this expectation the artist needs to create like a factory.

if i really had to boil down the thing that bothers me about AI

not just the theft
the job loss
the burning of the earth.

But the people who blindly use/consume it.

AI has revealed the ugly part of society that just consumes the art and expects it and feels entitled to it.

The folks who reject
