Keep doing it even after they've gone dormant: they could still be harboring those same sentiments, but have gone quiet in the hopes that no one will notice, remember, or care. They're also likely to possess the same flaws that led them down this path in the first place, and could do so again.

As mentioned before, I have way too many other reasons not to patronize Disney.

If people really want corpos to change, they have to inflict LASTING consequences. It's one thing to boycott their goods/services until they relent, but permanently abstaining ensures they won't repeat those actions.

We should not care or reward Disney for this. We must make their bottom line hurt for even considering doing something like this. Don't let up. Other companies need to see that bowing to fascism is not something you can do without consequence.
