Always had a theory that the league turns a blind eye because it allows players to add a few more points to their averages. That way it can brand itself as having even more “stars.” Fans get carried away with the free-throw merchant title, but it’s still an issue.

Always had a theory that the league turns a blind eye because it allows players to add a few more points to their averages. That way it can brand itself as having even more “stars.” Fans get carried away with the free-throw merchant title, but it’s still an issue.
There must be things we don’t know that happened behind the scenes. It is nasty work denying him that money though

Wild part is that both of them pushed heavy for that Westbrook trade, which made them give up valuable players from their championship run. All of the trades after haven’t moved the needle to make them a sustainable contender. It all starts with that Westbrook trade, and that’s on them

I believe that could have been Drake’s critique during the beef, though. Despite all the talk about the culture, the reality is that most rappers will do what’s convenient for them, even if it against how most of us vote. But, he didn’t make one word of it 🤷🏾♂️

Terrible loss, but in the grand scheme of things, can be a distant memory if they rebuild correctly. The Thunder were terrible for a few years and are a legitimate contender now. The Rockets are also on there way up, these things take time.
